Assistant General Manager required for Cote Restaurant opening soon in Horsham

The inspiration for the food and design of our restaurants comes from the modern interpretations of the many famous bistros that populate Paris. In recent years there has been a resurgence of interest in simple bistro cooking in Paris as locals turn away from expensive and over complicated cooking in formal restaurants to return to the basics of French cuisine. Côte now brings this unique experience to England.

Our menu offers classic dishes such as steak frites, salad niçoise, free-range chicken from the Les Landes area of France alongside lighter dishes such as roast seabass with olive oil mash with a garlic and tomato dressing. Crème caramel and crème brûlée are house specialities for dessert. Our atmosphere is informal and friendly.

In terms of service, we aim to deliver a memorable dining experience that leaves a lasting positive impression on all our Guests.

Due to our continuing growth we currently have opportunities for experienced General and Assistant General Manager to join our team in Horsham
Key responsibilities:
• Maintain the highest standards of service at all time
•Oversee the efficient operation of the restaurant and management team
• Stock control, purchasing and GP margins
• To motivate and develop existing staff
• Recruit, train and develop new team members
•Implement and maintain health & safety/food hygiene regulations
• Prepare weekly rotas
• Weekly management meetings

Applicants must:
•Have a proven track record in delivering exceptional customer service
•The personality to lead, coach, develop and motivate your team
• 1 or more years experience in a similar role
•Excellent communication and organisational skills
• Be eligible to work full time in the UK
• Provide references
