Chef De Partie 1 Rosette
Superior 4* Hotel based in West Sussex with extensive conference and banqueting facility and an exquisite 1 Rosette fine dining restaurant require a Chef de Partie who can play an integral part in achieving their 2nd Rosette.
Duties and responsibilities will include running your own section ordering, supervising and training of junior Chefs, preparing food in a timely manner for service to the highest standards, managing the daily work load, maintaining mis en place, stock management, observing all health, safety and hygiene rules, keeping wastage to a minimum and to maintain relevant records.
For this position you will be need to be organised Chef de Partie with bags of passion for you work and relish the opportunity to work with fresh locally produced ingredients and have a creative flair when approaching new dishes. You will also need to be will ideally be versed in Modern British cuisine, have experience within a 4* and be able to cook to 1 Rosette level. Working in a large brigade you will need to be a team player and be organised in you approach to your work. Additionally you will be qualified to NVQ 1/2/3 level or equivalent and have an Food Hygiene certificate.
