Pelham House requires a Night Porter for our 4* Boutique Hotel in Lewes

JOB TITLE:- NIGHT PORTER

REPORTING TO:- FRONT OF HOUSE MANAGER

OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE JOB:-

- to assist in the effective management and operations of the hotel between the hours of 10.00 pm and 8.00 am

MAIN ACTIVITIES/TASKS:-

- to make sure that after all functions rooms are cleaned and re-laid as necessary
- to carry out duties to required standards
- to ensure the safety/security of the hotel by making sure that correct procedures are followed
- to deliver excellent customer care
- to cash-up and print reports as required
- to help wiith fire evacuation and guest management
- to serve night food
- to carry out room service

PHYSICAL CONDITIONS:-

- hours of work will be between 10.00 pm and 8.00 am, depending on shift pattern requirements, five nights a week including weekends, you also may be required to come in earlier or stay later during very busy periods

- majority of the time will be working behind reception and in public areas

SALARY AND FRINGE BENEFITS:-

- £7.50 per hour
