Office and Product Dispatch Assistant for Fast Moving Brighton Internet Company
Working within a fast moving and highly innovative online e-commerce firm, this role requires a dynamic person who is happy to get involved in a range of tasks.
The business has developed the world’s first Instant Gift Messaging Service enabling people to send gifts to people across social networks and other media without requiring the postal address of the recipient. Based in Brighton the business is in a growth stage and is seeking an Office and Product Dispatch assistant.
The role includes:
Dispatch: Send customer orders out. Ensure correctly addressed and products in good order.
Stock Taking and Stock Management: including receipt of new stock and putting on the system (check stock is of reasonable quality when received). Also make sure stock in the admin system reflects actual stock on hand.
Stock Ordering: Highlight when stock needed and set up orders.
Packaging Ordering: Ensure that there is appropriate and sufficient packaging for orders to be dispatched efficiently.
Customer service: Email interaction with customers, including free gift allocation. Respond to any complaints and flag issues to management. Also handle incoming customer service and maintain a log of issues handled.
Chasing customer orders: via messages and email (using templates)
Possible Additional Work:
- Help write product messages and descriptions.
- Involvement in choosing new products.
- Help with marketing campaigns as required.
- Photography and posting new products onto the site.
- Run ebay shop.
The role requires someone who is organised and self-motivated.
