I have an origanal 1950s Gibson two tone amplifier for sale, all valve and point to point handwelded wiring, two vintage origanal speakers. I think its a rare variation of the GA55 but there little documentation of this model hitting UK shores in that year, infact when I contacted Gibson they found a shipment order and said it was the only one sent to the UK that year. Its been changed to UK regulated power supply. It sounds awsome, I bought it for studio work around 10 years ago and some carefull live work. I would say it has been well giged by the previous owner as it does have the signs of a fair amount oaf action thus my price, but for a collector or serious vintage tube fanatic this is the real mccoy. Due to the age of the amplifier I am not willing to send, but serious buyers are welcome to try it out from my studio in Brighton or London. In terms of Sound quality it is crystal clear jazzy sound that once cranked turns even my Fender Jag in to a rock machine. A beautiful one off amplifier. I am selling it due to space commitments and a new baby, arrghhh! Call me for pictures.
