Sous Chef 2 Rosette Brasserie
Our client is a long standing 2 Rosette 90 seater restaurant in Sevenoaks with an outstanding reputation for their food and customer service, headed up by a chef patron that totally passionate about the business with a strong presence in the community.
This is a great opportunity to work for an already successful kitchen team that is undergoing exciting changes to a more Brasserie style concept which will be happening in the coming months, this will bring a whole new feel and continued success to the business, following in the footsteps of top London restaurants. You will be working in a 2 Rosette kitchen you will be working under the guidance of an award winning Head Chef preparing Modern British Cuisine and working with the freshest of produce.
You will be responsible for running the kitchen in the absence of the Head Chef, Menu planning, GP management, managing and mentoring junior members of staff, food hygiene, health and safety, training and ensuring the standards are maintained.
This position require an individual with a stable career history and calm manner, a minimum of 2 years spent at Sous Chef level gained in a reputable 2 Rosette kitchen. Sound knowledge of seasonal local produce and being up to date with current trends combined with a creative flair for menu planning is a must.

They also offer a competitive basic between £18'000 -£25'000 and the opportunity to really get involved in the progression of the business.
