PBR Group is a small local Brighton Based Company helping to recruit for a primary school in Hove. The primary school is based in central Hove. They are looking for a teacher with a passionate creative background in teaching. The position is to cover maternity and is for a Year 1 class. If you secure long term work in the school you will be working as part of the team, involved in planning, staff meetings and after school clubs. You will be expected to plan, assess and mark children’s work.
The school also use day to day so after the contract has finished you will have the opportunity to continue your supply at the school.

Teacher must have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with UK teaching experience.
You will be committed to raising standards and have good organisational and interpersonal skills.

Candidate Specification:
• A highly motivated and excellent classroom practitioner in Key Stage 1/2
• Enthusiasm, energy and commitment to children of all abilities
• Ability to exercise professional leadership to secure high quality teaching

Skills, Knowledge and Aptitude:
• Experience of teaching in KS1/2
• Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum
• Ability to work within a close-knit, supportive team
