With emphasis on attaining sales targets and building enduring business relationships, you will manage your own specialist desk. Your core activities will be:

Business development calls to existing and prospective clients
Candidate sourcing, interviewing and selection
Clients visits and meetings
Tendering for business
Salary / contract negotiation
Offering informed career advice
Compliance
All Hays consultants have access to formal training sessions with our in-house Learning & Development team, in addition to daily coaching, guidance and support from your line manager and more experienced team members.


We seek individuals with a strong record of achievement. As a Trainee you will be well educated, ideally to graduate level and to be able to demonstrate clear motivations as to why you wish to work in recruitment. You will also need to demonstrate the ability to adapt to the requirements and demands of a challenging sales environment. As an experienced consultant, you will have a proven track record of generating placements and revenue.
