Sponsored Orbing Event for Charity
Kiya is a UK–registered charity which helps children with special needs in Peru. In order to raise much-needed funds, we have partnered with ‘orbing’ specialist Orb360, to launch The Big Roll at the Devil’s Dyke in Brighton, on Saturday 5th September 2009.
By signing up you will help raise invaluable funds for our educational centres in Peru, while spinning head over heels down the Dyke at speeds of 30mph. With this Orb–run being the longest in the country at half a mile long, and the stunning location overlooking Brighton and the South Downs, this is a once in a lifetime, feel-good experience.
The funky ‘Orb-Shack’ provides shade and music where you can enjoy a drink and bbq food, and take in the view while watching friends spin down the Dyke.
The Big Roll will take place from 12.00 – 4.00pm. Each ‘roller’ needs to raise a minimum of £100 in sponsorship to take part.
To sign up or for more information please contact Pip Emmott at Kiya Survivors on 01273 721092 / pip@kiyasurvivors.org.
