My client are a market-leading firm who utilise cutting edge technologies. They are currently recruiting for a Senior Software Engineer with strong C# skills.

Essential skills:
- Significant experience in software development
- Significant experience of Microsoft development on Windows platforms
- Sufficient Microsoft SQL server experience (table design, stored procedures, query optimisation etc)
- Sufficient experience of developing Windows services and Web services using C#
- HTTP, HTTP/S and XML development
- Experience of TCP/IP and other comms protocols
- Experience of Object Oriented Design and implementation.
- Experience of NUnit

My client need people who have worked on systems with little or no user interfaces (such as batch processing, control systems, simulation systems etc.) and who are familiar with concepts such as threading, parallel processing and domains. It is very important that they have extensive experience with threading and parallelism and that they understand Windows Services and Web Services. Microsoft SQL server experience is also essential.
