How can I learn to read music?

You can take informal, affordable, one-to-one lessons. You won’t have to pay for your first session, and during this free session we will chat about what you might already know in terms of music notation, and which areas you are especially interested in learning. At this session we can also decide when, where, and how often you would like to meet, as well as discussing how long you would like your lessons to be.

Your tutor

My name’s Louisa and I’m 30 years old.
I’m an experienced tutor of both adults and children.
I play the flute, accordion and piano.
I have had a classical music education, and in recent years I have also studied blues, jazz, rock, pop, folk and gypsy music.

How much are lessons?

After the first free session, lessons cost £15 per hour.
You can have 1 hour lessons, 1 ½ hour lessons, or whatever length of time suits you.
