Brighton Swimming Teachers Centre are currently running a ASA/UKCC Level 1 Certificate for Coaching Swimming course in the Brighton area. We, as a company, run these courses in connection with Northbrook College and are unable to provide the courses free to under 19 year olds.

One of the requirements is that candidates need to be at least 16 by the 31/08/2009 and need to of been under 19 by the 01/09/2009. Below is a bit of information about the ASA Level 1 Coaching Course with dates.

This qualification is aimed at those interested in the coaching programme in a competitive swimming environment. This is designed to develop
effective coaching skills leading to the ASA/UKCC Level 1 Certificate for Coaching Swimming. The Level 1 (Support Coach) for Swimming is an all inclusive Qualification and sits as the first formally assessed qualification on the coaching qualifications pathway.

7, 8, 10, 15, 17 September 2009 - Brighton
9, 10, 17, 2 November, 1 December - Brighton
2, 3, 9, 11, 23 February - Brighton
27 April, 4, 6, 11, 13 May - Brighton
