Marketing Assistant
Job Description:
To provide administrative support to the Marketing Manager. Examples of typical tasks include:
- Researching and organising facilities and services for events including book fairs, workshops and user groups
- Helping to create presentations and organise marketing materials.
- Researching, creating, and updating contact lists for mailings, etc.
- Dealing with responses to mailings
- Testing software before releasing to customers and demo systems in preparation for demonstrations
- Helping to create and produce marketing literature.
- General administration tasks
Personal qualities/skills required:
- Attention to detail
- Ability to work under own initiative
- Excellent written communication skills
- Polite and confident telephone manner
- Willingness to take personal responsibility for tasks and see them through to their resolution
