Job Description
Our client, a leading engineering consultancy listed on the London Stock Exchange is seeking and experienced Interim Personal Assistant to support the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary.
Job Title: Interim Personal Assistant
Temporary position to cover one year maternity leave.
Hourly rate: £10.00
Hours: 08.30-5.00 with 1 hr. for lunch.
Days of work to be all day Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday.
Location: They have there own parking or about a 15 minute walk from Shoreham By Sea station.

Interview: The executive wants to interview candidates on the 14th and 15th September so you would need to be available on these dates.
The role is to replace current PA on maternity leave. They are looking for a candidate it is supporting a senior level company secretary and the group general council. Need someone that is comfortable providing support at senior level (this is the most senior level in the company), confidentiality is very important, strong letter writing skills as they will be required to write letters from scratch. The company secretary that this role supports has 2 roles, and has a team of lawyers, 3 in the uk and one in the US and one in Germany, they have their own PA's but this person would be liasing with them at times as well, communications are mainly by email rather than over the phone.
A legal background is essential, PA experience preferred, will consider a senior administrator looking for the next step up, not expecting to find anyone with company secretarial experience, that would be an advantage, not essential. To provide efficient and effective personal assistance to the Group General Counsel and Company Secretary including administrative, secretarial and clerical services at a confidential level.
To service board meetings by preparing and collating papers, circulating minutes and dealing with general enquiries.
Point of contact for all communications and dealing with them effectively, diary management, and arranging travel, managing emails etc Prepare and distribute meetings, agendas, papers, minutes etc and ensuring the General Counsel is fully briefed in advanced of relevant meetings and/or events. Establish and maintain good working relationships with all employees and directors throughout the organisation and to promote an ethos of a friendly and happy working environment. Liaise with internal and external contacts and build good working relationships.
Provide additional support to the Legal team as and when required. This is likely to be a part-time appointment (circa 3 days per week) but dependent on applicant
