We are looking for some help with our daughter of 3. We also have a daughter of 13 but she can mostly look after herself!.

We have a large garden with apple trees, in a very pretty village. The train station is less than 2 miles away so easy to walk or bike ride
I work two days a week in an office in Brighton. My husband works one week in four away from home and during those weeks I really need help. Working for us would be very flexible, not very regular. If you like this arrangement that is good. If you prefer the same job each day then we would not be the family for you.

25 hours per week work + 2 nights babysitting (maximum) with 2 days off per week to be arranged in advance at the beginning of each week
duties could include:
Looking after our little girl: playing, collecting from kindergarten, making meals
Cleaning: vacuuming, dusting, cleaning bathrooms, ironing
General housework : emptying dishwasher, tidying toys, hanging out washing

This would vary each week depending on whether my husband was away or not. Much of the time you would be looking after our child there would be another adult in the house.

We would like to invite you to stay with us for 3-6 months. We will give you employment September, October, November at which point we can discuss and we can all agree if you would like to stay on for a few more months.

We will give you pocket money of £55 per week, your food and lodging, a pay as you go mobile phone with some credit for calling us. We could find you additional employment with our friends either cleaning (better paid) or childcare.

Regarding your accommodation this would be a garden studio (don't worry it is warm). There is a toilet as you come into the house, but not en suite.

The studio you would have is currently designated as a work space and we would need to continue to use the desk for phone calls in the day when you are in the house with Poppy - as our home is 'open plan' it is impossible to make work calls in the house as it is too noisy. We would screen off the desk so you have your privacy. We would not use the space when you were in it or on days off!
