PBR Group is a small local Brighton Based Company helping to recruit for a small school in East Sussex. The school is looking for a strong year 5/6 teacher with experience in classroom management and behaviour strategies. The teacher needs to be experienced and able to plan, differentiate lesson plans and be part of the community. The position is on a temporary contract to start after as soon as possible until Christmas. If you secure the long term position, you will be working as part of the team, involved in staff meetings and after school clubs. You will be expected to assess and mark children’s work.

The schools also use day to day so after the contract has finished you will have the opportunity to continue your supply at the school.

Teacher must have Qualified Teacher Status in the UK, or an equivalent overseas qualification with UK teaching experience.
You will be committed to raising standards and have good organisational and interpersonal skills.

• A highly motivated and excellent classroom practitioner in Key Stage 2
• Enthusiasm, energy and commitment to children of all abilities
• Ability to exercise professional leadership to secure high quality teaching

Skills, Knowledge and Aptitude:
• Experience of teaching in KS2
• Thorough understanding of the National Curriculum
• Ability to work within a close-knit, supportive team
